Since 2002, Ernst La Haye has been active in the field of education. Firstly, as a teacher Economics, thereafter, as project leader PeopleSoft and staff member ICT & Education at De Mondriaan Onderwijsgroep (higher professional education). In September 2005 he started as coordinator of the User Association PeopleSoft Education (DEUG). Within this last occupation, Ernst obtained a very well-defined view on the developments on ICT in education. Ernst can both design and develop. He’s very well informed of the processes (administrative, functional and technical) around the implementation of the onderwijsnummer (translated: education number, in Dutch BRON for short) in The Netherlands.
